The Habitat for Humanity Restore is in desperate need of volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity offers programs and initiatives to help support home-building costs that change the lives of low-income families in need.

Community Development Coordinator Lindsay Horsman says the Restore is their biggest economic driver, “People will donate items to the store, and sometimes we get donations from businesses as well. What we do is we clean them up and get them ready to sell and we use that money to put back into building a home.”

Volunteers at the store would assist with cleaning or fixing donation items and other duties.

“We’re looking for people who are tech-savvy and can fix things, but we also need regular volunteers as well,” Horsman says.

Horsman says there is an increased demand right now because of they are planning more builds in New Brunswick in 2023.
