A 16-year-old is dead after a crash on his motorcycle.

It happened in West Dover on Sunday evening.

Halifax RCMP say the teen was riding on Prospect Road when his bike went off the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
