Provincial Investment For Waste Management in West Pubnico

A lift station in West Pubnico slated for improvements has received an investment from the provincial government.

A total of $87,600 is being invested for the station which will improve waste management in the area.

“This type of project is important to our communities and I’m glad that our government was able to help make it happen. The improvements to the lift station will be a great benefit to the residents of West Pubnico.” – Argyle MLA Colton LeBlanc.

The investment is being made through the Provincial Capital Assistance Program which supports high priority municipal infrastructure projects.

It’s part of a $1.2 million investment to 15 projects across Nova Scotia.

The total cost of the project will be shared between the province and the Municipality of the District of Argyle.
