The Northwestern Health Unit is reaching out to anyone who may have fallen ill after attending a music festival in Dryden.
At least ten people who attended the Rythem on the Range on Saturday reported symptoms consistent with food poisoning.
The Health Unit is connecting their illness to them eating macaroni and cheese sold by a vendor without a permit.
Anyone who may have developed symptoms within twelve hours of eating at the event is asked to contact the health unit.
It also reminds anyone planning to operate a food premise to first notify the health unit.
This requirement includes temporary food premises operating at special events, fairs, and markets.
Temporary Event Food Vendor Permits should be posted at the food vendor’s location, indicating the premises have been inspected by the health unit.
