The 2022 Western Nova Scotia Exhibition wrapped up on Saturday in Yarmouth.

Two shows by Aaron Halliday’s ‘Alan Jackson Experience,’ bouncy castles and laser tag, and well-attended truck pulls were some of the highlights.

On Saturday, the stars of UCW Wrestling invaded Mariners Centre, headlined by former WWE Superstar ‘Highlander’ Robbie McAllister.

The Yarmouth Agricultural Society hosts the exhibition every year.

President Amy Rose says it was great to be back.

“We missed organizing it, and the ox-hauls and all the events we’re used to out here. It’s always a great time. A lot of times, it’s the only time we see certain people during the year, so there were lots of reunions,” says Rose.

Alisa Harrison won the Y95-CJLS Tri-County Talent Search.

Organizer and host Alexandra Rodgerson says there are a lot of great singers in our region.

“I think it’s amazing. There are some hidden gems that I’m seeing starting to come out. It’s amazing to see them all perform, everybody did so well,” says Rodgerson.

Skylar Rodgerson-d’Entremont was the Rising Star winner, and Emily Brannen took the Youth category.
