Roseway Manor to be Operated By MacLeod Group Health Services

Roseway Manor long-term care home in Shelburne has new owners.

The Municipality of Shelburne has announced MacLeod Group Health Services will operate the facility going forward.

They were chosen from nine organizations that submitted proposals to operate the facility, as well as eventually replace and/or renovate it, to the Department of Seniors and Long Term Care.

MacLeod Group Health Services began in 1981 and currently employs over 1,000 staff who care for over 640 residents at 11 locations throughout the Maritimes.

The Municipality says residents of Roseway Manor can expect the same quality of care, adding the MacLeod Group is looking to further invest in education and training of staff, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.

The add the MacLeod Group is also committed to honouring all employee relationships and to ensure as seamless a transition as possible.

They’ll report to the current Board of Directors until the ownership is transferred.
